The Shades Valley Mounties baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede to 7 in the Mounties non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mounties (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Northside (Northport, AL). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 12-2 record. In their last match, Northside gained a win over Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL), 11-1, in a non-league match.
