In Saturday's non-league game, the host Springfield Blue Devils baseball team scored a nice 14-4 victory over the Swanton Bulldogs.
The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Findlay (Findlay, OH). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Northwood (Northwood, OH). The Rangers go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Northwood was overwhelmed by Springfield (Holland, OH), 10-5, in a non-league game.
