Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Patrick can't hold off Lincoln Park

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lincoln Park Lions volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the St. Patrick Shamrocks.
The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech come into the Chicago Public Gold battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Lane Tech was edged by Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Shamrocks encounter the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 26. St. Patrick will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL).
