The Milpitas Trojans got by the visiting Leigh Longhorns baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fremont for a bout on Tuesday, March 29. Milpitas will face a Firebirds team coming off a 10-5 league loss to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-3.
Next, the Longhorns face the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs (Morgan Hill, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, March 30. Leigh will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 19-9 non-league win over Gilroy (Gilroy, CA).
