In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Omaha Northwest Huskies soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Conestoga Cougars.
The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bennington (Bennington, NE). The Badgers go into the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Bennington held off Norris (Firth, NE), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride (Omaha, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 26. Conestoga will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Crimson Pride go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Beatrice (Beatrice, NE).
