Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Papillion-LaVista Monarchs (Papillion, NE), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Storm face the Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) in a Metro challenge, on Tuesday, March 29. Elkhorn South will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE).

The Monarchs now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gretna for a Metro challenge on Monday, March 28. Papillion-LaVista will face a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 4-1.
