The Avonworth Antelopes softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers to 2 in the Antelopes non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Avonworth moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Antelopes host South Park (South Park, PA) to play the Eagles in a WPIAL 3A 2 game on Monday, April 4. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers play the West Greene Pioneers (Waynesburg, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 26. Chardon will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Souderton (Souderton, PA).
