The Triad Knights softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Central Rebels to 7 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Triad improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Knights host Breese Central (Breese, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, March 28. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 1-1. Breese Central lost 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL)
In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 26. Central will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Maroons come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Columbia (Columbia, IL).
