With the triumph, Choctaw Central moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Pearl (Pearl, MS) to play the Pirates in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 26. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 9-6. Pearl won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS)

In their next game, the Jaguars play the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) in a 3A Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, March 29. Jefferson Davis County will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Hancock (Kiln, MS).
