The Soddy Daisy Trojans (Soddy Daisy, TN) softball nipped the visiting Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors (Knoxville, TN), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Trojans (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN). The Hurricanes go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, East Hamilton was edged by Anderson County (Clinton, TN), 9-5, in a non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host First Baptist Academy for a D II-A East 1 bout on Monday, March 28.
