Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) and the host Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS), witnessed Hernando's softball squad prevail over Clinton by a count of 12-1.

The Tigers now sport a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Southaven for a 6A Region 2 match on Tuesday, March 29. Hernando will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Independence (Independence, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Clinton moves to 9-9 on the season. The Arrows travel to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, March 26. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 10-3. Oak Grove won 14-0 in their recent league match against Meridian (Meridian, MS)
