The Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID) softball routed the visiting Fruitland Grizzlies (Fruitland, ID), 17-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Mountain Home was routed by Capital (Boise, ID), 10-1, in a non-league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Parma for a 3A Snake River Valley bout on Tuesday, March 29. Fruitland will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
