North Carolina High School Softball - West Rowan nudges Grove City

March 26, 2022: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125

West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 29. West Rowan will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Grove City falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Loris (Loris, SC) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 30. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 8-2.
