In Saturday's non-league contest, the Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) softball team held off the host West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Hernando moves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Clinton (Clinton, MS) to play the Arrows in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 26. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 10-3 non-league win over South Jones (Ellisville, MS).
