The Marshall Barristers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Sylmar Spartans to 2 in the Barristers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Marshall improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Barristers host Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Wolves in a Northern game on Tuesday, March 29. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 1-3. Sotomayor lost 11-2 in their recent non-league game against Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA)

Next up, the Spartans meet the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) in a Valley Mission battle, on Wednesday, March 30. Sylmar will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Cougars go into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Alemany (Mission Hills, CA).
