In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting St. Pius X Sartans softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the St. Michael's Horsemen.

Coming up next, the Sartans battle the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) in a 4A District 5 outing, on Thursday, March 31. St. Pius X will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 3-10 record after their 30-19 league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM).

The Horsemen (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons enter the 3A District 2 outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, West Las Vegas was tipped by Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 11-1, in a non-league outing.
