California High School Baseball - Cajon holds off Mayfair

March 26, 2024: San Bernardino, CA 92407

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Cajon Cowboys (San Bernardino, CA) and the visiting Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), saw Cajon's baseball squad beat Mayfair by a margin of 8-4.

Coming up next, the Cowboys play the Redlands East Valley Wildcats (Redlands, CA) in a Citrus Belt battle, on Saturday, March 30. Cajon will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 10-5 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Orange Vista (Perris, CA).

The Monsoons now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynwood for a Mid Cities battle on Wednesday, March 27. Mayfair will play a Knights squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-4.
