The Independence Patriots baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack to 4 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Patriots (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers go into the Southwestern 4A match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Providence gained a win over Independence (Charlotte, NC), 15-1, in a league match.
The Wolf Pack (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Providence Day was overwhelmed by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 13-3, in a league match.
