In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Santa Clara Bruins.
The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Saints enter the non-league test with a 10-4 record.
The Bruins (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Titans enter the test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Gunn held off Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
