The San Leandro Pirates held off the host Oakland Tech Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Castro Valley for a test on Wednesday, March 27. San Leandro will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-3.

The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their test against College Prep (Oakland, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, College Prep held off Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
