California High School Volleyball - Hayward crushed by Piedmont

The Piedmont Highlanders topped the visiting Hayward Farmers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Highlanders now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alameda for a West Alameda County test on Thursday, March 28. Piedmont will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 12-4.

The Farmers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Jets enter the West Alameda County test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Encinal was knocked off by Irvington (Fremont, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
