The Cannon Cougars lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights to 8 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.
The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Durham Academy (Durham, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Durham Academy nudged Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC), 15-5, in a league match.
The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Providence nudged Independence (Charlotte, NC), 18-5, in a league match.
