The Whitney Point Eagles lacrosse team scored 22 points and held the visiting Elmira Express to 7 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Owego Free Academy (Owego, NY). The River Hawks go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Owego Free Academy was overwhelmed by Windsor Central (Windsor, NY), 10-5, in a league match.
