In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host East Wake Academy Eagles soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Phoenix come into the Super Six 1A/2A battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Raleigh Charter was overwhelmed by Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Spartans (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC). The Crusaders come into the NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Harrells Christian Academy thwarted Oakwood (Greenville, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
