Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 28. Midland will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 22-0 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Crowley (Crowley, TX).
The Cougars now possess a 15-8 record.
