Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 11-8 in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Durham Academy for a NCISAA - Division I battle on Thursday, March 28. Cannon will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 5. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
