In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Highland Huskies lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks.

The Huskies now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Middletown for a non-league test on Thursday, March 28. Highland will face a Middie Bears squad coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Middie Bears record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Goldbacks face the Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 2. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wizards come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 11-7 non-league win over Red Hook (Red Hook, NY).
