The St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Louisville Leopards to 5 in the Fighting Irish league win on Tuesday.

The Fighting Irish (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Elyria Catholic was overwhelmed by Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH), 12-2, in a non-league contest.

The Leopards now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Hoban for a Region 6 contest on Wednesday, April 3. Louisville will confront a Knights squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
