The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Advance Hornets (Advance, MO) and the visiting Scott City Rams (Scott City, MO), saw Advance's softball squad nip Scott City by a count of 4-2.

The Hornets now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Scott County Central for a Class 1 District 2 match on Thursday, March 28. Advance will face a Braves squad coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to Leopold (Leopold, MO). The Braves record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Scott City falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Marion (Marion, IL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 27. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 9-2. Marion won 17-0 in their recent league match against Cahokia (Cahokia, IL)
