Vandebilt Catholic Terriers (Houma, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), 24-1 in a league challenge.

The Terriers now own a 25-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan City for a 4A District 7 challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Vandebilt Catholic will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-7 league loss to South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, A.J. Ellender falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to East St. John (Reserve, LA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-9.
