Illinois High School Softball - Blue Ridge can't get by Armstrong

March 26, 2024: Armstrong, IL 61812

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) softball team held off the visiting Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), by a margin of 9-8.

With the triumph, Armstrong moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Westville (Westville, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, March 29. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 8-1. Westville won 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Centennial (Champaign, IL)

In their next game, the Knights play the Oakwood Comets (Fithian, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 27. Blue Ridge will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL).
