Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) and the visiting Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA), witnessed Buchanan's softball squad tip Highland by a count of 7-1.

The Bears now sport a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Selma for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. Buchanan will meet a Bears squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Bears record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Highland moves to 8-5 on the season. The Scots travel to Bullard (Fresno, CA) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. The Knights go into the match with a record of 7-4. Bullard won 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA)
