Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Dawson Springs for a District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 28. Caldwell County will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Ohio County falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hancock County (Lewisport, KY) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Hancock County lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Meade County (Brandenburg, KY)
