Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Caruthers Blue Raiders (Caruthers, CA) and the visiting Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA), witnessed Caruthers's softball squad tip Sunnyside by a count of 4-2.

The Blue Raiders now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Fowler for a Northwest Sequoia- North match on Tuesday, April 2. Caruthers will face a Redcats squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Redcats record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Sunnyside moves to 1-11 on the season. The Wildcats host McLane (Fresno, CA) to face the Highlanders in a North Yosemite match on Wednesday, April 3. The Highlanders go into the match with a record of 6-4. McLane won 10-3 in their recent league match against Torres (Madera, CA)
