The Henley Hornets got by the host Eagle Point Eagles softball squad by a count of 12-11 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crook County (Prineville, OR). The Cowboys go into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record.
The Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host North Eugene for a 5A Midwestern battle on Tuesday, April 2. Eagle Point will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Elmira (Elmira, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-3.
