Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mabton Vikings (Mabton, WA), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cadets now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moses Lake for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge on Friday, March 29. Eisenhower will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Hermiston (Hermiston, WA). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Mabton falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host River View (Kennewick, WA) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
