The Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) softball routed the visiting Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR), 22-7 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Nelson (Happy Valley, OR). The go into the 6A Mt. Hood bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Nelson notched a victory over Liberty (Hillsboro, OR), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
The Quakers now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Ida B. Wells for a 6A Portland Interscholastic bout on Tuesday, April 2. Franklin will confront a Guardians squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Guardians record now stands at 1-5.
