The Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) softball routed the host Heppner/Ione Mustangs (Heppner, OR), 18-11 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Loggers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Irrigon was routed by Umatilla (Umatilla, OR), 18-1, in a league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host St. Paul for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 27. Heppner/Ione will confront a Buckaroos squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Country Christian (Molalla, OR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 4-0.
