The Thunderbolts come into the game with a record of 1-0. Northmont won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Chardon (Chardon, OH)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 27. Mentor will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Gladiators come into the game with a 3-2 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA).
