In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Valley View Spartans softball team scored a close 5-3 win over the National Trail Blazers.

Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Brookville Blue Devils (Brookville, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye outing, on Wednesday, March 27. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the outing with a 2-0 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Wayne (Huber Heights, OH).

The Blazers (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Panthers enter the Western Ohio Athletic outing with a 0-0 record.
