Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Panguitch Bobcats (Panguitch, UT), 25-13 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunderbirds now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Milford for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. Piute will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-11 league win over Kanab (Kanab, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Panguitch falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Enterprise (Enterprise, UT) to face the Wolves in a 2A South challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 10-0. Enterprise won 7-5 in their recent league challenge against South Sevier (Monroe, UT)
