The Abingdon Commandos baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Stark County Rebels to 6 in the Commandos non-league win on Wednesday.

The Commandos now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Prairie for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Abingdon will clash with a Cyclones team coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Stark County drops to 1-4 on the year. The Rebels travel to Morrison (Morrison, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 2-2. Morrison won 16-1 in their recent non-league test against Galva (Galva, IL)
