The Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) baseball the visiting Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC), 4-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Comets now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Central Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge on Friday, March 28. Asheboro will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-3.
With the defeat, Leadership Academy drops to 4-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. The Grizzlies go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Clover Garden School won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC)
