The Ayden - Grifton Chargers the host Martin County Gators baseball squad by a score of 6-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Chargers battle the Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC) in a Eastern Plains 2A outing, on Friday, March 28. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Southside (Chocowinity, NC).
