California High School Baseball - Esperanza defeats Buena Park

March 26, 2025: Buena Park, CA 90621

The Esperanza Aztecs baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Buena Park Coyotes to 2 in the Aztecs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Aztecs now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Anaheim for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Esperanza will clash with a Colonists team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Santiago (Garden Grove, CA). The Colonists record now stands at 5-6.

With the defeat, Buena Park drops to 6-8 on the year. The Coyotes host Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Golden West test on Friday, March 28. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 8-5. Costa Mesa won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Orange (Orange, CA)
