California High School Baseball - Central Catholic defeats Pioneer

March 26, 2025: Modesto, CA 95351

The Central Catholic Raiders baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Pioneer Patriots to 8 in the Raiders non-league win on Wednesday.

The Raiders now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Central Catholic will play a Rams team coming off a 16-1 league win over West (Tracy, CA). The Rams record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Pioneer drops to 9-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Wood (Vacaville, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Monticello Empire League test on Thursday, March 27. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-9. Wood lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Pioneer (Woodland, CA)
