North Carolina High School Baseball - Cornerstone Charter held off by Southern Guilford

The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals baseball squad (Greensboro, NC), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC)

With the triumph, Southern Guilford moves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Storm travel to High Point Central (High Point, NC) to confront the Bison in a Mid-State 3A contest on Friday, March 28. The Bison come into the contest with a record of 0-9. High Point Central lost 16-2 in their recent non-league contest against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)

The Cardinals now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham Charter for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 27. Cornerstone Charter will confront a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-5.
