In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Francis W. Parker Colonels baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Proviso East Pirates.
The Colonels (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Proviso West defeated Ogden International (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pirates face the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 29. Proviso East will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
