The St. Xavier Tigers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Frederick Douglass Broncos to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Academy-Louisville for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. St. Xavier will clash with a Centurions team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY). The Centurions record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Frederick Douglass drops to 2-4 on the year. The Broncos travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, March 28.
