Virginia High School Baseball - Varina loses to Freeman

The Varina Blue Devils baseball squad (Richmond, VA), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA)

With the triumph, Freeman moves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA) to confront the Jaguars in a Colonial contest on Thursday, March 27. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Glen Allen won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA)

The Blue Devils now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Powhatan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 8. Varina will confront a Indians squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.
